During the first lockdown, following in the footsteps of Sheila Hicks and her beautiful weave “Promeneur”, I made small weaves recording my daily walk. Some recorded real walks, others imagined, and some were walks I was looking forward to returning to. These weaves and their stories were posted daily on Instagram. This is a small sample of the 50 walking weaves I made over 50 days.
